ووردبريس (بالإنجليزية: WordPress) هو نظام إدارة محتوى الكتروني مفتوح المصدر، مبنيّ بلغة بي إتش بي وقواعد بيانات ماي إس كيو إل، تُوزّعه شركة Automattic تحت رخصة جنو العمومية الإصدار رقم 2 أو أعلى؛ ويساهم في تطويره مجموعة من المطورين المتطوعين. تتيح الوظائف التي يتوفّر عليها ووردبريس إدارة أيّ موقع ويب خصوصا المدونات.
تشير الإحصاءات إلى أن ووردبريس يشغّل حوالي 27% من مواقع الوِب.

القوالب
يستطيع مستخدمو ووردبريس تركيب الثيمات (القوالب) أو التبديل بينها. يسمح القالب بتغيير مظهر المواقع التي تُنشَأ بووردبريس. يمكن تركيب القالب أو حذفه بدون الخوف من تغير أي محتويات في الموقع. كل موقع منشئ بوردبريس يحتاج لقالب ( ثيم ) واحد على الأقل ليعمل واي ثيم يجب أن يتم تصميمه بمقايس ( Standards ) منظمة وردبريس العالميه والتي هي إمتداد أو تعديل واقتباس من لغة بي اتش بي ( PHP ) ولغة النص التشعبي ( HTML ) ولغة الستيل شيت ( CSS ) . القوالب يمكن تركيبها مباشرة عن طريق المتجر الموجوده في لوحة تحكم وإدارة برنامج ووردبريس أو يمكنك تحميل الثيم كفولدر بإستخدام برتكول اف تي بي ( FTP ) المشهور لرفع الملفات الفولدرات.
لغة وأكواد بي إتش بي و لغة النص التشعبي والستيل شيت الموجوده في أي قالب يمكن تحريرها وإضافتها لمدنا بميزات أكثر تقدما وتطورا . يمكن تصنيف قوالب وردبريس إلى تصنيفان وهما قوالب مجانيه وقوالب ممتازه (غير مجانيه) ، معظم القوالب المجانيه موجوده في موقع منظمة وردبريس ، أما القوالب الممتازه فيجب شراءها من مواقع البيع المشهوره أو من مطوريها . مستخدمي وردبريس يمكنهم أيضا إنشاء وتطوير قوالبهم الخاصة بأنفسهم إذا كان لديهم بعض المعرفة والمهارة بكيفية عمل ذلك . إذا لم يكن لدى مستخدم وردبريس معرفة بكيفية إنشاء وتطوير قالب فيمكنه تنزيل أحد القوالب المجانية من القوالب المتوفره على موقع منظمة وردبريس وهي قوالب رائعة .
الإضافات
الإضافات هي برامج مساعدة لمعمارية وردبريس وتسمح للمستخدمين بالإستفادة من وظائف وأدوات الموقع الإلكتروني او المدونه وزيادتها وتحسينها . يوجد أكثر من 40 ألف برنامج مساعد لوردبريس، وهي تقدم العديد من الوظائف المخصصة لتمكين إحتياجات المستخدميين الخاصة وزيادتها ، الإحتياجات الخاصة مثل تقوية تواجد موقع المستخدم على محركات البحث سيو SEO ومثل مداخل العملاء لإظهار المعلومات الخاصة للعميل للمستخدمين المسجليين Logged in users في نظام إدارة المحتوى (كوردبريس) لمزيد من ظهور المحتويات كالويدجات وشريط الإبحار navigation bar . ليس كل الإضافات المتوفره تعمل بصوره جيدة إذا ما تم التحديث للوردبريس وربما لاتعمل على الإطلاق إلا إذا قام مطوريها بتحديثها بما يتناسب مع الإصدار الحديث من وردبريس وتنوه دائما منظمة وردبريس عن ذلك في موقعها الرسمي أسفل أي برنامج مساعد تقوم بتنزيله أو تركيبه في موقعك.

من الميزات الأخرى إدارة الإرتباطات المتكاملة Integrated links ومحرك البحث وديا search engine وبنية واضحة للإرتباطات الدائمة [الإنجليزية] Permenent link أو بإختصار Permalinks والقدرة على خصخصة العديد من التصنيفات للمقال الواحد ودعم الوسوم للمقالات . الووردبريس لا يتطلب معرفه بلغات البرمجه مثل HTML، ايضا تيتخدم 90% من المدونات البووردبريس لاداره مواقعهم ومدوناتهم.

سلف وردبريس كان برنامج بي 2 كفي لوج (b2/cafelog)، وكان التخمين المقدر له تواجده على 2000 مدونة في مايو سنة 2003 ، وقد كتب بلغة بي إتش بي بي إتش بي للإستخدام مع قواعد بيانات ماي سيكول ماي إس كيو إل بواسطة ميشال فلدرجي وهو الآن مطور مساهم في منظمة ووردبريس.

التدوين المتعدد
